Even though I'm not the biggest fan of shorts, I wear them when it gets hot—although I try to avoid them as much as possible. In my opinion, long trousers will always look more elegant, even for very relaxed outfits. And as I always say: if you're not sure whether you can wear shorts in a specific situation, always go with trousers.
