Outfit Narrative for Poszetka - “A Tribute to Ivy” Collection
This project started about a year ago, when I visited Poszetka for a photoshoot and thought about a few pieces that I would love to see in their selection, which I told them about while I was there.
My idea was very clear: a few classic pieces that are versatile and can be easily dressed down as well, but also something that would complement their “Everyday Classic” permanent collection. I looked for inspiration in my favorite silhouettes from Ivy style, and that’s where the collection got its name - “A Tribute to Ivy”.
Back in November 2024 when I visited them for the first time, I received a very warm welcome, and we clicked from day one. That’s why I wanted a special tagline for this collection: “Earned Kin - united around shared values and appreciation of tradition, craftsmanship, and the stories behind what we wear.”
This is not only about my relationship with Poszetka, but also about the menswear community - people who care about what they wear, the craftsmanship that goes into making these pieces, and the tradition that ties it all together.
Pleated Chino
First item I wanted to make were trousers, mainly because all their classic trousers are too slim for my legs. As I already mentioned, I wanted to create pieces that are very versatile, so we designed a new pleated chino with a fuller leg. We tweaked details that bothered me about most pleated trousers on the market. First, we made the hips slimmer, so you don’t get that extra wrinkled fabric around the crotch, and second, we went for a wider, fuller cut, so the trousers have nicer proportions and also drape better. They are crafted from 345g dyed Japanese cotton twill that we left untreated - the fabric has a subtle sheen and gradually becomes softer and more matte with each wash. They are designed to work for almost any occasion, and they pair as easily with a rugby shirt as with a sport coat and tie.

Rugby Shirt
Second new item is the rugby shirt. Again, the rugby shirt is such a staple when it comes to classic style, and I wanted to do it the way I think is more flattering, so this is a more elegant take on the rugby shirt, with a larger, more structured collar. The cut is slightly shorter, so it looks great tucked or untucked. It’s made from 100% cotton single jersey, washed to give it a worn-in look and eliminate potential shrinkage. It features a special Outfit Narrative x Poszetka embroidered crest on the chest.
And this crest is very dear to me. Originally, the rugby shirt is sportswear, so most of the time it featured a team crest on the chest. It was something the wearer was proud of, and I wanted to create something similar - something that people who support us and believe in what we do would be proud to wear. This crest is basically a visual version of “Earned Kin.”
Why a stork? It’s an animal that resonates deeply with both me and the Poszetka team. It is present in Silesia, the home region of Poszetka, as well as in the country where I grew up. For me, it represents slowing down and taking in what surrounds us, being present, and appreciating meaningful things - time with friends and family, the fine details, and the craftsmanship behind quality products.
The stork stands for warmth, loyalty, and belonging. Across European folklore, it brings new life and blessings, which reflects how the Poszetka team welcomed me from the very first day, and how our relationship was built on respect, shared effort, and genuine care. In this crest, the stork becomes a symbol of fellowship and fresh beginnings, like old house crests that marked belonging. It represents opening doors to friendship, knowledge, and the pursuit of excellence together.
Ivy Popover Shirt
The third new product we developed together is the Ivy Popover Shirt. This is a more casual alternative to the classic button-down shirt, but I wanted to make it a bit more elegant, so we gave it a regular collar. It’s crafted from light pink organic oxford cloth, whose color and texture will soften beautifully after the first few washes. It works perfectly with jeans and a sport coat, as well as with a suit - you can even wear it with a tie if you like. We imagined it worn with the sleeves rolled, the top two buttons open, and tucked in.

Grey Herringbone Sportcoat
One of the key pieces of this collection is the grey herringbone sportcoat. It is made from a 290g Italian wool blend with a touch of cashmere, which adds softness while remaining light enough for warmer weather. Lightly padded shoulders and a half-lined construction keep it comfortable while maintaining shape. Instead of flap pockets, we’ve chosen patch pockets - one of those small changes that I believe makes it more versatile.
Washed Denim Button-Down Shirt
A very important part of this collection is also the washed denim button-down shirt. The button-down shirt is an Ivy staple, but the denim version became a symbol of relaxed American style - somewhere between workwear and collegiate prep, and remains more relevant than ever. Ours comes in a tailored cut and is made from 180g dyed Japanese denim that has been garment-washed for a softer feel and a more worn-in look.
Regimental Ties
And it couldn’t be a tribute to Ivy without a Regimental tie (often called a Repp tie), so we made two. They come in two colorways designed to complement a denim button-down or a light pink popover shirt: red-navy-white and blue-beige. They are made from 100% silk.
Baseball Cap
I also think there is no Ivy style without some headwear to make every outfit a bit more casual. Classic Poszetka caps don’t fit me well, so we designed a new baseball cap style that is much taller and wider. The updated shape and proportions bring a touch of old-school American character. It’s finished with contrasting “In Good Company” embroidery and made from 100% cotton twill. Available in two versions: navy with white embroidery, and off-white with navy embroidery.
Pebbled Leather Tote Bag
And the final touch to this collection is a new black pebbled leather tote bag. It is my interpretation of the perfect Ivy bag for today. Adapted for modern use, it comes with a padded laptop pocket (fits up to a MacBook Pro 16”) and an additional zip pocket for smaller items. The bag closes at the top, keeping your belongings secure while you’re on the move. It is made by Sartolane from vegetable-tanned Italian leather.
This collection is our take on some of my favourite pieces that were staples for Ivy League students in the 1950s and 1960s, but were missing from Poszetka’s selection. We focused on the details, made a few subtle updates to improve the fit, but kept everything classic. These are garments that felt right back then and still feel just as relevant today.
