My Favorite Products from Pitti Uomo 110

I finally managed to go through all the photos from Pitti, so I would like to share my favorite products I saw there.

Starting with shoes. Edward Green recently released a new penny loafer called Pimlico. It comes on the newly developed 125 last, which has a balanced round toe with a defined side wall and a lower vamp. It's a more casual penny loafer with great proportions that still has the elegance Edward Green is known for. I especially like the unlined version, and it's available with either a classic leather sole or a very sleek rubber sole, which is perfect for wearing all year round.

There is another shoe from Edward Green that I really like, and that's the new Ecton, which is based on the Dover model, but the Ecton has only three lace holes, which makes the vamp visually longer, giving the shoe an even more elegant appeal. It might be a bit too elegant for me, but it's a really beautiful shoe!

Since I knew they would be in Florence, I was very excited to visit Bowhill & Elliott to check out their selection of handmade slippers. They are a family-owned business that started in 1874 as a bespoke shoemaker, but evolved into a dedicated slipper manufacturer in the 1960s, which they remain today, employing eight skilled shoemakers who craft each pair completely by hand.

I have been thinking about slippers a lot over the last couple of months, but until recently, I was sure they just weren't for my personal style. Then I started considering them to dress down a black tie outfit, which led to the point where I'm now considering a very different pair for casual wear, either in olive velvet or leopard suede. This escalated quickly. I'm currently leaning towards the shape of their Venetian Slippers instead of the classic Albert Slippers.

There is also a new Myrqvist Lysekil II. They switched factories, so this shoe was completely redesigned, and the proportions are now much better, but the idea is still the same - a classic unlined suede penny loafer. The main differences are that the vamp is lower and the toe shape is less pointed. It's a completely different shoe than it was, and now it really has that classic penny loafer vibe. But they still haven't changed the official photos on the website, so you'll have to trust me if you want to try them. They are available in four colors, and I was advised to get this model half a size smaller than their Mölle II tassel loafers.

Another very interesting shoe is Jacques Soloviere Paris Jacques New Perfo, their classic loafer with a perforated leather upper, which seems like a great summer shoe. However, the upper is lined, so I’m curious how comfortable these are and how much of a break-in period they need. And they are currently on sale!

And there will be some great new suede colors for Paraboot shoes next season.

Peplord hosted a pop-up shop with gelato, so I finally got the chance to see all the new products in person. I can confirm that the navy Pontos jacket is even nicer in person. Everything about this jacket was executed right, from fabric choice to cut. So if you are looking for a navy field jacket, nothing comes close to this one.

It’s always great to see the bags as well. His products are the result of his unique taste, which is very utilitarian, but with an added touch of Italian elegance and craftsmanship, and there is nothing similar currently on the market. So if there is a chance to see his products, I will always take it. And the Passenger bag (in the photo) is still one of the coolest and most unique casual tote bags. But the item that really caught me off guard were the trousers. I wrote more about them in "Things I Like This Month - June 2026."

Another brand I was excited to see in person is Dalmo Cashmere. For those who are not familiar with them, they are a third-generation, family-run knitwear company based in Tuscany. Their knitwear is quite unique because it is made from more luxurious yarns, and every piece is hand-framed, so nothing is machine-made.

Of all the styles available, the Vittorio Polo stood out to me because the collar is a bit larger than on most polos, which I think looks very chic. The cotton-linen blend also feels great and is perfect for hot summer days.

I also met with the guys from The Decorum to get my measurements taken for a new jacket from their handmade in-house tailoring program. For those that didn’t know, The Decorum worked with Kim Min Soo, founder and tailor of Assisi Bespoke House, to develop a new made-to-measure tailoring program built on a fully redesigned pattern and full-canvas construction. Their made-to-measure program is only available at The Decorum Park House and The Decorum Ari, but they will have a trunk show in London from 16-18 July.

It was good to see Private White VC back at Pitti. There is always something interesting in their selection, which is not a surprise considering they have an archive that dates back to 1853 and contains more than 15,000 pieces. They are expanding their selection and can now cover almost a full wardrobe, from outerwear to trousers.

More than half of their offering is still outerwear, but they are expanding into other categories as well

Informale had a private showroom, so I stopped by to check out their selection. I like what Steve and his team are doing, putting their own spin on classics and making them what they consider more contemporary. Most of their pieces are made locally in Melbourne, with a few items made in Italy.  I love the cut of the new tank top (coming next year), and the S011 Safari Shorts fit is great, but I personally prefer the style of the S016 Tailored Shorts.

I also really like the new Sartolane unlined tote bag. I really like the size and proportions, and I think it’s the best-looking Sartolane tote so far, but since it’s totally unlined and without a laptop sleeve, I thought this would be a deal breaker for me, which turned out not to be true. First batch is already sold out, but you can expect the restock in September.

Another brand I finally got the chance to see in person is Beorma - a fairly new British leather goods company based in Walsall, England's historic leather-making town. The brand was established in 2022, when the founder took over the workshop of a 4th-generation family leather business to preserve its craftsmanship and continue the town's centuries-old leatherworking tradition. He combines his own designs with traditional English craftsmanship to create timeless, handmade leather goods. I think their products have a very distinct British aesthetic, which might not be for everyone, but the quality is amazing.

I also stopped by La Bowtieque to check out the whole range of their bow ties. Mika really is the best in the world when it comes to everything black tie, but especially bow ties. Nobody else offers such a versatile selection of different shapes and sizes of bow ties of the finest quality. Currently, my favorite is Brandon because I believe it balances my facial features really well, but there are a few other styles that I’m curious to try in the future.

And I can’t end this without mentioning the new Banton Frameworks Mòr Alder frames, which I got just in time for Pitti and wore for most of my time in Florence. These are bolder than most of the frames I own, but I think they work really well for me, and I enjoyed a bit of a change. Like all Banton frames, the build quality is exceptional. Frames from the Mòr line are even thicker, so these are definitely a statement piece.

These are the items that stood out to me at Pitti Uomo this summer. I wonder if you have a favorite, or if anything else caught your attention.
